AUBURN – Marie Rita Bosse, 83, formerly of Sixth Street, died Wednesday, Nov. 15, at Clover Health Care Facility after a long illness.
She was born in St. Agathe on Feb. 11, 1923, the daughter of Joseph and Marie (Guerrette) Bourgoin. She was the wife of Wallace Bosse whom she married on Dec. 7, 1939, in St. Agathe. He predeceased her on Nov. 18, 2002.
She enjoyed knitting and playing cards. She was a member of St. Anne’s Sodality and a parishioner of St. Louis Church. She worked for many years in the local shoe industry as an assembler.
She is survived by three sons, Richard Bosse, and his wife, Renee, of Wales, Joseph B.R. Bosse, and his wife, Cecile, of Lewiston and Raymond Bosse of Auburn; one sister, Therese Fongemie of Frenchville; four grandchildren, Lisa Morin, Angela Austin, Sherri, and her husband, Michael Thoits and Michael Bosse, and his wife, Mi-Ok; eight grandchildren, Anne and June Bosse, Shelby Austin, Tyler J., Dominic and Olivia Morin, Xavier Vega and Natasha Thoits.
She was predeceased by three brothers, Fortunat, Albert and Armand Bourgoin.
The family would like to thank Androscoggin Home Care, especially Clover Manor side 2 and 3 for their special care they gave Marie.
