FARMINGTON – Mildred I. Tetreault, 84, of Farmington, formerly of Jay, went to be with her Lord quietly on Wednesday, Nov. 15, at Orchard Park Living Center, where she had been a patient for two months.

She was born Dec. 13, 1921, in East Livermore, the daughter of Fred E. and Eunice (Gowell) Lane. She was married to Alphonse H. Tetreault Sr., who predeceased her. They made their home in North Jay until 1962; moved to Connecticut, and returned to Maine in 1974.

She was a member of the Jay Baptist Church Ladies Aid, volunteered at the Senior Center and enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her son, Alphonse H. Jr., and his special friend, Linda, of Solon; a daughter, Julia Belanger, and her husband, Terry, of Chesterville; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Bertha Peabody of Bath.

She was predeceased by three brothers, Ralph, Harold and Edward Lane; and two sisters, Frances Doe and Ida Lane.
