AUBURN – Jeannette E. Jones, 74, passed away after a long illness on Nov. 14, at the Hospice House of Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice.
She was born in Lewiston, on March 23, 1932, a daughter of the late Llewellyn and Flora (Laforge) Buck. She was educated in Auburn schools and graduated from Edward Little High School, Class of 1950. She worked for the telephone company for 25 years before she became ill. She loved to dance and was a big fan of country and western music.
She is survived by her four children, Margaret Gundersen, and husband, Bruce, of Washington, Thomas Bolduc of Lewiston, Catherine Mathieu of Connecticut and Theresa Beaudette of Lewiston; her six grandchildren, Marc, Monique, Patrick, Erin Sara, Melanie and Joey; three great-grandchildren, Megan, Emily and Logan; as well as her two sisters, Geneva Collins of New York and Geraldine Pearl of Ohio, and their families.
She was predeceased by her two brothers-in-law; James Collins and Howard Pearl; a nephew, Patrick Collins; and a son-in-law, David Russell.
