MERRIMACK, N.H. (AP) – Police say they’re checking the background of a former soccer coach accused of assaulting a teenage boy to see if more charges are warranted.
They made the disclosure in court Thursday, where Ralph Fiscale, 59, waived a probable cause hearing on a sexual assault charge. Police charged him with fondling a 13-year-old boy who was not involved in his soccer league.
Fiscale coached in the Nashua World Cup soccer program and used to coach with other leagues, so police say they’ve been interviewing people who had contact with Fiscale as far back as 20 years ago in a search for possible victims. Prosecutors said additional charges could be filed as soon as next week.
