Martha F. Enos, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Larry E. Enos of Turner, was recently named an Alden Scholar for the 2005-2006 academic year at Allegheny College in Meadville, Pa. Enos, a senior, is a graduate of Leavitt Area High School.

Alden Scholar awards are presented to students who maintained a grade point average of 3.2 or higher during the preceding academic year. The awards are named in honor of the Rev. Timothy Alden Jr., who founded the college in 1815.
