WINTHROP – George I. Gage, 58, of Main Street died unexpectedly on Friday, Nov. 17, at his home.
He was born in Brunswick on Feb. 16, 1948.
He served with the U.S. Army for seven years during the Vietnam era. After the service, he became a truck driver, and has been driving for more than 36 years. He was currently employed at Chapman Trucking in Auburn. He loved bingo, playing the slot machines and watching NASCAR racing.
He is survived by his wife, Lori Gage of Winthrop; his mother, Vera Connely of Auburn; his children, Andrew Gage, Natasha Gage and Amy Carney, all of Lewiston, Travis Williams and Joshua Chabot, both of Winthrop, Bobbie-Jo Voye of Oxford and Pammy Belanger of Lewiston; three special nieces, Laura, Jessica and Deeanna; a special nephew, Victor Carter; two grandchildren, Noah and Justice; and several other brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and cousins.
