LEWISTON – Richard and Claire Dulac of Lewiston are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Melissa Dulac of Union, to Isaiah Cooper of Union, son of John and Becky Parsons of Durham.

Miss Dulac is a 1998 graduate of Lewiston High School and a 2002 graduate of Hartwick College with a degree in psychology. She received a master’s degree in counseling psychology in 2004 from Boston College. She is employed as a family therapist at Catholic Charities Maine.

Mr. Cooper is a 1995 graduate of North Haven Community School and is employed in residential construction in the midcoast area.

An October 2007 wedding is planned.
