PALERMO – Mary U. Berrier of Palermo, 66, died in the company of loving family on Monday, Nov. 20.
She was born on Sept. 1, 1940, to James and Madeline (Bennett) O’Donnell, the youngest of eight children. She attended school in Massachusetts and was a graduate of Stoughton High School.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt. She enjoyed gardening, tole painting and spending lots of time with family and friends. She worked at Frontier Village in South China for many years.
She is survived by her brother, Richard P. O’Donnell of Palermo; her ex-husband, Russell A. Berrier of Indiana; all of her children, Elizabeth A. Giggey, and her partner, Richard Ghione, of Pennsylvania, Susie Berrier, and her husband, Butch Stubbs, of Lewiston, Richard A. Berrier, and his wife, Jean, of Tucson, Ariz., Michael A. Berrier, and his partner, Randall Hunnewell, of Litchfield, Staff Sgt. Mathew A. Berrier, and his wife, Lisa, of North Carolina and Theresa A. Geidel of Palermo; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
