Recently, the seventh grade science class at Elm Street has been working on Cell Imovies. If you’re not sure what that is. I’ll tell you. It’s a program on our laptops that the whole seventh and eight grade uses. We are making a movie about the different cells that we found on the Internet. It’s actually pretty cool, and Mr. Knott, our science teacher, recently taught us how to record our own voice! When it shows a red blood cell, for example, you could hear someone talking about what the cell does and what that person thinks about it.

We also have been using the microscopes and learning how to put them away, and the new and cool things we can do with them. Someone can put a little camera on the lens of the microscope. You hook the microscope into the laptop and it shows up on a screen.

I have a feeling science class will be very fun this year!
