LEWISTON – Madison Paige Dillingham, 18, a resident of Hemlock Street, Sabattus, died unexpectedly late Tuesday, Nov. 21, at Central Maine Medical Center as a result of injuries received in an automobile accident.

Madison was born in West Palm Beach, Fla., on Aug. 21, 1988, the daughter of P. Seth and Tia M. (Hall) Roberts. Madison was a recent graduate of Oak Hill High School, where she was a member of both the National and Spanish honor societies. Madison served six years with the U.S. Air Force Auxiliary, Civil Air Patrol with the rank of major, which made her the highest-ranked female Civil Air Patrol Cadet in Maine She graduated in the top 10 percent of her graduating class this year, and was attending the University of Maine at Farmington to pursue a career in teaching.

Besides her parents of Sabattus, she is survived by her maternal grandmother, Rebecca “Nana” Bennett of Portland; her maternal grandfather, David “Pepe” Bennett of Monmouth; paternal grandmother, Sheryl Titcomb-Gilbert of Sabattus; two sisters and best friend, Alexandria Dillingham of Auburn and Morgana Roberts of Sabattus; her “Unca” Josh Roberts of Sabattus; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
