PARIS – Jinger Duryea, president of C.N. Brown Co., based in South Paris, traveled to Phoenix, Ariz., recently where she received the 2006 community involvement award from Convenience Store/Petroleum Magazine. C.N. Brown was nominated by the Maine Chapter of the Muscular Dystrophy Association for the award.

When asked by CSP Magazine why the long involvement with the association, Duryea replied, “It’s really just become part of our culture, it’s something we do, and honestly couldn’t imagine running the company without that alongside it.”

This year is also the 20th anniversary of C.N. Brown’s fundraising efforts on behalf of the MDA. Since 1986 the company has raised more than $2.8 million.
