LEWISTON – TD Banknorth announced three promotions recently involving employees in or from the area.
• George A. Foster has been promoted to officer in records management at the Lewiston offices. He will continue to maintain and manage all of the banking company’s archive, paid documentation and corporate records.
Foster joined TD Banknorth in 1999 and has seven years of banking experience.
A Lisbon Falls resident, Foster is a 1972 graduate of the University of Maine and a graduate of Lisbon High School.
• Denise Jensen has been promoted to assistant vice president in the Corporate Education and Training Department in Lewiston. She joined TD Banknorth in 2000 and has 15 years of expertise in banking and training, specializing in managing enterprise-wide training projects.
Jensen is a 1987 graduate of the University of Maine in Orono. Originally from Madawaska, she is a 1983 graduate of Madawaska High School. She resides in Auburn with her husband and two children.
• Barbara A. Gilbert has been promoted to assistant vice president in Commercial Projects at TD Banknorth Inc. in Portland. A project specialist, she will continue to manage and participate in moderately complex projects in support of the banking company’s commercial division.
Gilbert joined TD Banknorth in 1994 and has 19 years in banking. Previous positions at TD Banknorth have included commercial loan administrator and unit lead, and application support analyst.
A Standish resident, Gilbert is from Lewiston, where she graduated from Lewiston High School in 1986.
