AUBURN – Announcement is made of the engagement of Michelle Herrick and Matthew Wood, both of Scarborough.

Miss Herrick is the daughter of Ronald Herrick of Sabattus and Suzanne Gagnon of Auburn. She is a 2000 graduate of Oak Hill High School and a 2004 graduate of Rivier College. She earned her bachelor’s degree in biology and is currently employed at the Maine Blood Center in Scarborough.

Mr. Wood is the son of James Wood of Greene and Kathy Wood of Scarborough. He is a 1998 graduate of Leavitt Area High School and a 2005 graduate of the University of New England. He earned his master’s degree in physical therapy and is currently employed at Back in Motion Physical Therapy in Gorham.

The wedding will take place on May 26 at Lost Valley Ski Resort.
