LEWISTON – A surprise party was held recently for Willie and Jeannette Gendreau of Lewiston, on the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary.

The party was hosted by their children, Susan Harkins, Laurie Michael and Jessica Gendreau, and was held at C&J Hall in Lewiston.

Gold accents were featured and a wishing well was on display.

Mr. Gendreau and the former Jeannette Bachand were married on Sept. 15, 1956.

Mr. Gendreau is retired from Bell Labels and has been driving school buses for 18 years.

Mrs. Gendreau is retired from V.F. Strainrite.

Original wedding attendant present was Fernande Parise. Many family members and close friends attended.
