SOUTH CASCO – The wedding of Emily Massicotte and Thomas Marczak was held at 4 p.m. on Oct. 21 at Migis Lodge in South Casco. Marguerite Stapleton officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Marczak is the daughter of Steven and Gay Massicotte of Williamstown, Mass. Mr. Marczak is the son of Virginia Marczak of Auburn and the late Lawrence Marczak.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an ivory silk gown with embroidered Alencon lace with a sable brown sash wrapped at the waist. She also wore a mantilla veil with Alencon lace trim, and carried a bouquet of cream roses and Calla lilies arranged with lambs ear, rosemary, sage and Star of Bethlehem.

Hilary Massicotte, sister of the bride, was honor attendant, and bridesmaids were Paige Boudreau and Lauren Kenneday, friends.

A brother of the bridegroom, John Marczak, served as best man, and ushers were Steve Pilot, Matt Siket, Todd Cifelli and Mark Clary, friends.

A reception followed at Migis Lodge in South Casco.

The bride is a graduate of Champlain Valley Union High School in Hinesburg, Vt., and Syracuse University. She is employed at Pineland Farms.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Edward Little High School and Syracuse University. He is currently in his second year at the University of Maine School of Law.
