LEWISTON – The wedding of Lacey Leigh Michaud and David Donald Moyse was held on July 1 at Trinity Episcopal Church. Larney Otis officiated at the ceremony.
Mrs. Moyse is the daughter of Gene and Janis Michaud of Lisbon Falls. Mr. Moyse is the son of Paula Moyse of Lewiston and Lisa and Nelson Gagnon of Lisbon.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a strapless two-tone satin and organza gown in ivory and spun gold with delicate beading and embroidery and a Cathedral train. She carried a hand-wrapped bouquet of blue iris, light blue delphiniums, ivory alstromeria, Leonesis roses and hypericom berries.
Jacinda Ojeda was maid of honor for her friend, and bridesmaids were Monica Duarte, Karen Bagley and Sheri Littlefield, friends.
Dwayne Varney served as best man for his friend, and ushers were Walter Moyse and Chris Moyse, brothers of the bridegroom, and Lucas Michaud, brother of the bride. Trevor Gagnon, brother of the bridegroom, was junior usher, and Sean Gagnon, another brother, was ring bearer.
A reception followed at Martindale Country Club in Auburn, after which the couple traveled to Orlando, Fla. They are residing in Lewiston.
The bride is a 1999 graduate of Lisbon High School and received a bachelor’s degree in education with a concentration in ceramics from the University of Southern Maine. She is a third-year art teacher for the Lewiston School Department at Pettingill and McMahon Elementary Schools.
The bridegroom is a 2000 graduate of Lisbon High School and received an associate degree in culinary arts from Johnson and Wales University in Providence, R.I. He is a sous chef at the Munroe Inn in Auburn.
