PORTLAND – The wedding of Erin Pierpont and Adam Dunbar, both of Auburn, was held at 5 p.m. on Sept. 9 at State Street Church. Phillip Sherman officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Dunbar is the daughter of Richard and Bonnie Pierpont of Raymond. Mr. Dunbar is the son of Andrew and Rebecca Dunbar of Augusta.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. Carie Butterfield was honor attendant for her friend, and bridesmaids were Laura Yorke, Jandi Warren and Jill Buxton, friends, and Bobbie Williams and Amy Rossetti, cousins. Meghan Keefer was flower girl.

Serving as best man was Jonathan Tardiff, friend, and ushers were Sam Dunbar, brother of the bridegroom, Eric Pierpont, brother of the bride, and Mike Smith, Nate True, Troy Thibodeau and Jonathan Katz, friends.

A reception followed at the Eastland Park Hotel, after which the couple traveled to St. Lucia.

The bride is a graduate of Westbrook High School and the University of Southern Maine. She is employed at Stone Coast Brewing Co.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Cony High School and the University of Southern Maine. He is employed at AG Edwards.
