AUBURN – Ernest O. Garneau, 87, of Lisbon, passed away Saturday, Nov. 25, at the Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice House.
Born in Winslow on April 29, 1919, he was the son of Napoleon and Odelie Morissette Garneau.
He was educated in local schools. He loved sports, politics, and was an avid reader.
He is survived by a sister, Jeannette Ashton of Brunswick; two sister-in-laws, Amelia Waliski of Monmouth, and Dora Garneau of Lewiston; and nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents; his wife, Helen Garneau, of 59 years; three brothers, Lionel, Armand, and Raymond; and two sisters, Lucille Morin, and Fern Ladd.
