AUBURN – Some roads will be closed Monday in preparation for the planned Auburn downtown holiday celebration.

As the celebration gets under way, the following roads will be closed.

• Main Street from Elm to Court Street will be closed to through traffic between 3:30 p.m. and 9 p.m.

• All lanes of Court Street will be closed from Minot Avenue to the Longley Bridge between 6 and 6:30 p.m.

Police advise anyone trying to drive through that area find alternate routes.
