Collection finished

WOODSTOCK – Woodstock Historical Society Museum Curator Larry Billings reports that the facility’s collections are essentially complete.

“I am very satisfied we have most of the large items we need and we can relax and add small exhibits to fill in a few gaps in the collection now and then,” he said. “Of course, we always take any local memorabilia we are offered and can make room for it,” he added.

The museum is closed for the winter. Meetings are held at 7 p.m. the second Saturday of the month at the Town Hall Community Room in the meantime. Programs are of general interest and refreshments are served. A research report is usually also given.
