Chefs Soiree raises $23,000

LEWISTON – The Sisters of Charity Health System’s first Chefs Soiree, held on Nov. 10 at the Nutrition Center of Maine, was a huge success. The event raised $23,257 for the Sisters of Charity Food Pantry.

Chefs Eric Agren of Fuel, Paul Landry of Fish Bones, and Theresa Hyatt of La Cuisine shared their culinary expertise and dishes with guests. David and Jennifer Betancourt of Silvery Moon Cheese put on a spread of Maine-made cheeses.

The Nutrition Center of Maine was adorned with donated produce to be used to supply Food Pantry clients with fresh vegetables the week before Thanksgiving.
