Opening reception for Norway exhibit

NORWAY – Norway Memorial Library will host a First Friday Opening Reception exhibiting art work by members of the Western Maine Art Group from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1.

The exhibit will be a collection of winter scenes, including paintings, prints and photographs. The reception is an opportunity to view the art ork, meet some of the artists, and have refreshments and conversation.

Pieces shown in the display will be priced for purchase; artist contact information will be made available to viewers interested in adding to their collection or doing some Christmas shopping.

This is the second display in a collaborative effort of Western Maine Art Group and Norway Memorial Library. Each display lasts two months and is available for viewing any time the library is open.

“Winter Scenes” will remain on display through Jan. 31. For more information, call Norway Memorial Library at 743-5309 or visit www.norway.lib.me.us.
