Holiday event

WILTON – The community is preparing for a holiday event in downtown Wilton on Saturday, Dec. 9. The Hall Farm will provide hayrides from 2 to 3:30 p.m., and Santa will arrive by fire truck in front of the Magic Touch Images. At 3:30, everyone will gather at the monument around the lighted Christmas tree to sing Christmas carols. Refreshments, donated by community members, will be available at the Magic Touch Images after caroling.

Youth program

LIVERMORE FALLS – The youth of Emmanuel Assembly of God will present a Christmas program, “His Space,” at 6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 10. The play was written by the children of Emmanuel Assembly of God. It is a journey back in time to Bethlehem. The program is 45 minutes long, and refreshment will be served afterward.

Gospel concert

NEW VINEYARD – The Campbells will be in concert at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 7, at Mountainview Bible Church, Church Street.

The Campbells are a full-time Gospel music ministry from Maine. Their music legacy spans more than 30 years. They travel throughout the United States and Canada and have released recordings. They have appeared on local and national television and gospel singing cruises.

College aid session

JAY – A financial aid information presentation for the parents of Jay High School juniors and seniors will be given at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 12, in the Jay High School library. Janeen Violette from the Finance Authority of Maine will be the presenter.

The presentation defines financial aid, explains how to apply and describes the types of financial aid. The senior class will hold a bake sale prior to the meeting from 5:15 to 6 p.m. For more information, call the Jay High School Guidance Office at 897-4336.
