BANGOR – Sheila M. (St. Cyr) Payeur, 44, of Rumford, died on Monday, Nov. 27, unexpectedly in Bangor. She resided on East Street in Bangor, and was formerly of Rumford.
She was born in Rumford, on Nov. 21, 1962, a daughter of Loren and Mariette (Fisher) St. Cyr. She was a graduate of Rumford High School, Class of 1981, and also Husson College. She worked in the mental health field for crisis intervention in the Bangor area.
Survivors include her daughter, Michele Payeur and Michele’s father, Joe Payeur of Bangor; her mother, Mariette St. Cyr of Rumford; six sisters, Suzanne Susbury, and her husband, Bill, of Raymond, Mary Kenney of Thousand Oakes, Calif., Charlene Warren, and her husband, Michael, of Pleasant Grove, Utah, Elaine Herbert, and her husband, Donald, of Topsham, Brenda Ledue, and her husband, Andrew, of Scarborough and Janine Bouchey, and her husband, Alan, of Standish; five brothers, Gerard St. Cyr, and his wife, Shirley, of Howland, Marshall St. Cyr, and his wife, Sheila, of Newcastle, James St. Cyr, and his wife, Christine, of Rumford, Mark St. Cyr of Rumford and Stephen St. Cyr, and his wife, Grace, of Newcastle; and a close friend, Kerry Millay of Surry.
She was predeceased by her father; three sisters; and a brother.
