PARIS – The Oxford County grand jury indicted nine on drug charges when it rose Thursday.

West Paris resident Michael Holden, 44, of 2 Bog Brook Loop, was indicted on four counts of aggravated trafficking of scheduled drugs, two counts of criminal forfeiture, aggravated furnishing of scheduled drugs, endangering the welfare of a child and criminal simulation.

Maine Drug Enforcement Agency officials were led to Holden after a three-month investigation. Holden was arrested Sept. 20 at his home.

Police also recovered firearms and drug paraphernalia.

Holden is out on bail.

Rumford residents Peter Cormier, 55, of 110 Hall Hill Road, Christopher Touchette, 22, of 28 Oxford Ave., and Lisa Worthley, 34, of 405 Cumberland St. were among eight people arrested Oct. 12 on charges of trafficking and possession of cocaine.

The arrests were part of an eight-month investigation by several agencies including the Rumford Police Department and the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency.

Cormier was not one of those targeted in the busts, however, he gave himself up when he saw officers, police said previously.

Touchette has a pending drug trafficking case, police said.

Cormier was indicted on two counts of aggravated trafficking in scheduled drugs, three counts of unlawful possession of scheduled drugs and one count of criminal forfeiture. Touchette was indicted on two counts of unlawful furnishing of scheduled drugs, violating conditions of release and criminal forfeiture. Worthley was indicted on one count of aggravated trafficking in scheduled drugs.

Chad White, 29, of 45 Richards Ave., Mexico, was indicted on one count of aggravated trafficking of scheduled drugs, two counts of unlawful furnishing of scheduled drugs, conspiracy and criminal forfeiture.

He was arrested on the charges Oct. 2 after police found him in possession of methadone and oxycodone.

Also indicted was Richard Giberson, 55, of 17 Weld St., Dixfield, on charges of unlawful trafficking of scheduled drugs, unlawful possession of scheduled drugs and marijuana cultivation.

Giberson was arrested in July after Dixfield police recovered 23 marijuana plants and drug paraphernalia.

Also:

• Tracie Greene, 32, of 152 Alpine St., Norway, was indicted on three charges of unlawful possession of scheduled drugs. The charges stem from an Aug. 28 arrest.

• Jimmy Wayne Lewis, 40, of 206 Cumberland St., Rumford, was indicted on one charge of aggravated trafficking in scheduled drugs.

• Daniel Elmer Smith, 62, of 16 Cottage St., Apt. 9, Norway, was indicted on one charge of unlawful possession of scheduled drugs.
