NORWAY – Doris M. (Gagnon) Ouellette, 90, of Bethel, formerly of Norton, Mass., died on Thursday, Nov. 30, at Stephens Memorial Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert H. Ouellette, who died on June 6, 1989.
She was born in Lowell, Mass., April 2, 1916, a loving daughter of the late Peter J. and Rose D. (Cyr) Gagnon. She was educated in Haverhill, Mass., schools and was a graduate of Haverhill High School. She served her family as a loving homemaker.
She was a communicant of Our Lady of the Snows Church in Bethel and was a former longtime communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Norton, where she was also a member of the Catholic Women’s Club. She was a member of the Seniors Coalition in Bethel.
She enjoyed crocheting and craft making. She had lived in Bethel for the past 10 years and was formerly of Norton for 49 years.
She is survived by her devoted son, David P. Ouellette, and his wife, Pauline, of Bethel; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by three sisters, Bernice Gagnon, Rose Blanche Smith and her twin sister, Dorothy M. Gagnon.
