RUMFORD – Dr. Roy Ulin and a new Maine Cardiology Associate, Dr. Lynette Fahnestock, will alternate staffing weekly cardiology clinics at Rumford Hospital on Thursday mornings. Ulin’s clinics had been twice monthly.

Fahnestock comes to Maine Cardiology Associates from Portland, where she completed a cardiology fellowship at Maine Medical Center. The Lewiston native earned her bachelor’s degree from Goshen College in Goshen, Ind. Her doctor of osteopathic medicine degree is from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford. She is board certified in internal medicine and board eligible in cardiology.

A graduate of New York Medical College in Valhalla, N.Y., Ulin completed his residency in internal medicine at University Hospital/Westchester County Medical Center and a fellowship in cardiology at New York Hospital/Cornell University Medical Center. He is board certified in cardiovascular disease and internal medicine.

Appointments for the Rumford Hospital Cardiology Clinic are made through the cardiologists’ Lewiston office at 777-5300.
