Music

Music is my life

Flowing through my veins

Beating in my heart

Every step I take

is another note on the staff

another minute in a lifetime

a rhythm I cannot shake off

would not shake off

Music is the only way

I can make it through the day

After I fill my brain with knowledge

I kick back with my favorite songs

my own mix

or a new disc

with music there are no rights

there are no wrongs

it helps me sleep through the nights

and chase away my frights

turn off the lights

and let the music put me to sleep

if there was only one sound

in this world I could keep

it would be music.
