LIVERMORE FALLS – The Livermore Falls-Jay Senior Citizens met at Murray Hall on Nov. 27, with 38 members present. Roland Tardif became a member.
Chairwoman Shirley Couture opened with a prayer, salute to the flag and a moment of silence for departed members and the men and women in the Armed Forces. Mary Groleau led in singing “Amazing Grace.”
The sick list included Emile Richards, Lorraine Ellingwood, Peggy McDonald and Claudette Morin. Members signed up day for a Christmas party on Monday, Dec. 11.
“Happy Birthday” was sung to those members who celebrate their birthdays in November, including Lois Gordon, Doris DeMillo, Lorraine Ellingwood, Margaret Dufour, Helen Poulin, Doris Ouellette and Jeannine Williams.
The 50-50 was won by Mary Potter. The meeting was adjourned and cards and games were played.
