AUBURN – Linda L. Jasper, 51, of Darrington Road, Hartford died Thursday, Dec. 7, at the Hospice House after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born in Lewiston on Jan. 24, 1955, the daughter of Arthur and Bertha (Fortier) Woodsome. She grew up and attended schools in Lewiston and was a graduate of Lewiston High School. She later attended Mid State College and graduated as a medical secretary.

She was recently employed as a scheduling coordinator at Farmington Hospital, where she worked for many years until her illness.

She enjoyed the outdoors and loved to hike and four-wheeling. She also loved tending to her grandchildren, knitting, going out to eat and shopping with her friends and family.

She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Peter Jasper of Hartford whom she married on March 14, 1980; her sons, John, and his wife, Brenda, of Canton, Scott, and his wife, Carrie, of Horsham, Pa. and Mark of Mechanic Falls; her grandchildren, Kelsea of Canton, Justin and Ellie of Peru and Will and Christopher of Pennsylvania; her sister, Doris Bourbeau of Auburn; and her brothers, John Woodsome of Buxton and Chuck Woodsome of Rye, N.H.

She was predeceased by her brother, Donnie Woodsome.
