PORTLAND – Cheverus High School has announced the induction of 34 students into the National Honor Society. The national organization was established to recognize outstanding high school students.
More than an honor roll, NHS serves to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service and character. Membership not only recognizes students for their accomplishments, but challenges them to develop further through active involvement in school activities and community service.
Local students include juniors Ryan J. Billings of Topsham, Brenna C. Foley of Gray, Edward M. and Meghan M. Snook of Auburn.
