POLAND SPRING – Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice will be at Poland Spring Preservation Park for the Home for the Holidays Celebration through Saturday, Dec. 16.

The public can tour the indoor forest of 15 table-top trees decorated by local businesses and organizations and the large Remembrance Tree featuring pinecone ornaments honoring the memory of loved ones. The trees are on display at the Poland Spring Preservation Park Museum during operating hours from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

The forest includes trees decorated by the AHCH Hospice House; Beta Sigma Phi, Xi Gamma Sorority; Central Maine Power; Community Credit Union; Durham Tiger Cub Scouts, Pack 145; Era Worden Realty; Girl Scout Troop 653, Leeds; Heather’s Bakery; Lewiston Sun Journal; Maine Chapter, National Association of Tax Professionals; Memory Lane; Mountain View Chocolate Shoppe; Poland Historical Society; Ruth Circle, United Methodist Church of Auburn; and the Perfect Basket.

The celebration will conclude from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 16, with free activities for the family, including visits with Santa, tours of the park by horse and cart, a holiday scavenger hunt and bidding on a favorite tree. Bidding will close at 2 p.m. and the winners will be announced at 2:15.
