LIVERMORE FALLS – Police have unclaimed property that nobody has reported missing and would like to find the rightful owners, Lt. Thomas Gould said.

Police recovered the items Dec. 2 at a Livermore Falls residence after several motor vehicles were broken into in the Pleasant, Beacon, Baldwin, High and Wheeler streets area. The case remains under investigation.

Among the unclaimed items are a radar detector, CDs, CD player, an older Nintendo, books, backpacks, clothing, hunting supplies, knives and computer supplies.

“We assume they’re missing out of vehicles in town,” Gould said, “but nobody has reported them missing.”

If people are missing similar items, they should phone police at 897-3424 and set up an appointment to meet with an officer or stop by the police station, Gould said.
