Watercolor art work on display at CMMC

LEWISTON – The watercolor art work of Cheryl Webber is featured during December by the Woman’s Hospital Association of Central Maine Medical Center.

Webber was raised in a home where expressing one’s self through art was encouraged. Her mother and teacher, Irene Duplissis, taught her many forms and mediums, including oil, charcoal, pen and ink, watercolor and clay.

Webber’s art is realistic, with special attention to detail. Her work is in private collections all over the world. Over the past year she began sculpting clay into realistic babies, from miniatures to life-size. She can be reached at 346-6015.

The association supports Central Maine Medical Center and its patients. Those wishing to join the association or interested in the monthly artist showings should call 795-2295.
