LEWISTON – Annette R. Beauchesne, 81, of 20 Great Falls, Auburn, died Thursday, Dec. 14, at Marshwood Center for Health Care and Rehabilitation after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s disease.

She was born in Lewiston, Jan. 29, 1925, the daughter of Nazaire and Rose Bernatchez Bonenfant. She was educated in Lewiston schools and was married to Donald R. Beauchesne on May 16, 1953.

Prior to her retirement in 1986, she was employed as a secretary/receptionist at Hammond Insurance Co. She was a member of Holy Cross parish and the Ladies of Ste. Anne Sodality and enjoyed reading, cooking and was a great conversationalist.

She is survived by her husband of Auburn; her twins, daughter, Diane M. Griffin, and husband, Pete, of Sabattus and son, Donald L. Beauchesne, and wife, Lucie, of Taunton, Mass.; a son-in-law, Paul Morency of Auburn; three grandchildren, Scott and Craig Morency and Stephanie Beauchesne; a great-grandson, Xavier Rickell; two sisters, Irene McKeone of Connecticut and Rhea Bonenfant of Lewiston; and a brother, Laureat Bonenfant of Gainsville, Fla.

She was predeceased by two sisters, Cecile Philippon and Rita Grenier; and a brother, Lionel Bonenfant.

The family would like to extend thanks to the staff of Marshwood for their great care.
