It is too bad when a few inconsiderate people have to spoil something so special and wonderful for everyone. The Loggins have put a lot of time, effort, talent and money into setting up a display that enchants everyone who gets a chance to see it. For some, I guess, it’s too much to ask that they remember the spirit of the season.

Yes, there is a lot of traffic, waiting in line, but everyone is there for the same reason. Is it too much to ask for a little patience, a little politeness, a little give-and-take so that everyone could share the experience?

When the lights went dark, the true spirit of the season – peace, harmony, love, sharing and caring – was stomped on by a few grinches who forgot basic common courtesy and good will to all.

I hope that the rest of us aren’t judged by the behavior of these few, and that the Loggins won’t write off this community as barbaric heathens who don’t understand the true gift that they are trying to give us.
