AUBURN – Sally S. Roberts, 58, died Friday morning at 3 a.m. after a yearlong battle with cancer.

She was born in Lincoln on July 3, 1948, to Wilfred and Mary Shedd.

She graduated from Mattanawcook Academy where she met her husband of 40 years, Larry D. Roberts.

The couple has six daughters.

She was loved for her beautiful smile, and admired for her love for her 14 grandchildren and family.

She loved spending time at her home on Annabessacook Lake.

She is survived by her loving husband, Larry Roberts of Monmouth; six daughters, Catherine Priest and husband, John, of Wales, Laurie Levesque and husband, Thomas, of Wales, Sue Jillson and husband, Michael, of Wales, Sandra Campbell and husband, Joshua, of Monmouth, Tiffany Roberts of Monmouth, and Amy Roberts of Monmouth; her mother, Mary Shedd of Winthrop; two sisters, Roberta Wren and husband, Robert, of Stockton, and Linda Nason of Wisconsin; and a brother, Douglas Shedd of Winthrop.

She was predeceased by her brother, Oakley Shedd; and her father, Wilfred Shedd.
