AUBURN – Constance “Connie” Jean Morin, 74, died Sunday, Dec. 17, at the Hospice House.
She was born in Lewiston, Jan. 6, 1932, the daughter of Gerard P. and Marguerite (Girardin) Jean.
She attended St. Patrick’s school and graduated from Lewiston High School in 1951.
On May 3, 1952, she married Marcel R. Morin, also of Lewiston. She was a devoted wife and mother of three children.
She enjoyed sewing, artwork, crafts and photography. She spent countless hours creating things with her hands for family and friends, especially enjoying the days when she could do this with and for her three grandchildren. Much of her work was suitable for framing.
She touched many lives throughout her life, sharing her faith in God with many. She left a wonderful legacy and will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Marcel; children, Normand and his wife, Anita, of Westbrook, Ronald of Freeport, and Louise and her husband, John Morin, of Alfred, and their three children, Brianne, Alayna and Tyler; two brothers, Gerard Jean of Pacifica, Calif., and Julius (Buddy) Jean of Glendora, Calif.; and her father, Gerard P. Jean and his wife, Jeanne, of Lewiston.
She was predeceased by her mother in 1983.
The family wishes to acknowledge and thank the super staff of Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice, especially Dr. Austin.
