LISBON – Lucien “Lou” Dubois, 60, of Lisbon, died Dec. 14, at his residence after a lengthy illness.
He was born in Lewiston on Feb. 24, 1946, the son of Albert and Yvonne Champagne Dubois. He was educated through the Lewiston school system and graduated from Lewiston High School in 1964.
He was a member of the Army National Guard for 10 years during the Vietnam War era. He was employed as a machinist at General Electric in Auburn for many years, and upon retiring from G.E. worked at Ace Security as a security guard, until his illness became too debilitating.
He is survived by two sons, Maurice, and companion, Minta and David of Lisbon; a daughter, Renee Dubois of Sabattus; two sisters, Rita Galipeau and Lauretta Morin, and husband, Donald, all of Lewiston; a brother, Adrien, and wife, Selia, of Lewiston; three granddaughters, Kristy, Kasha and Harley; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his father in 1974; and his mother in 1990.
The family is very grateful for the passionate care that Lucien received from the entire staff of Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice.
