BRUNSWICK – Troy Barnies drained 12 points to propel Edward Little to a 46-38 come-from-behind victory over Brunswick in a KVAC boys’ basketball matchup Tuesday.

Travis Barnies held up his end of the Red Eddies’ brother act with 11 points in what turned out to be a two-man show.

The Dragons (1-2) were paced by Cory Underwood with a 10-point performance, while Connor Breisacher added eight. Edward Little trailed by nine at the half, then went on an 18-2 run in the third quarter to take control of the contest.

Lewiston 65, Erskine 59

LEWISTON -Jarrid Palmer and Abdinassir Abdi downed 18 and 17 points, respectively, as Lewiston recorded a 64-56 win over Erskine Academy in boys’ basketball Tuesday.

Keenan White chipped in with 11 points for the Blue Devils. Erskine was led by Damien Staples with a game-high 22 points, while Jay Dunn added 11.

St. Dom’s 63, Sacopee Valley 45

SOUTH HIRAM – Joe Bonneau had a double-double with 19 points and 10 rebounds to lead St. Dom’s to a 63-45 win over Sacopee Valley Tuesday evening.

Billy Colasante added 15 points, while Greg Labonte chipped in with nine. Austin Fuller had a strong performance with four points and eight steals for the Saints (2-2).

The Sacopee Valley (1-3) effort was paced by Blais Whitney with 14 points. Sean Foster and Mike Spaulding each added 10 points a piece for the losing cause.

Maranacook 69, Winslow 61

READFIELD – Will Bardaglio poured in 27 points Tuesday night as Maranacook rolled to a 69-61 victory over Winslow. Ryan Martin chipped in for the Black Bears (4-0) with 17 points, while Devin Gerrity added 10.

Adam Pulia paced Winslow (3-1) with a 17-point effort, while John Goulette chipped in with 16. Maranacook held a slim 31-26 advantage at the half before outscoring Winslow 21-14 in the third frame to pull steadily away.

Leavitt 55, Gardiner 54

TURNER – Leavitts’ Cameron Angell shot up and over a Gardiner player, netting the winning basket and giving the Hornets a 55-54 win in overtime Tuesday.

Tyler Millett recorded 26 points and 12 rebounds for Leavitt (3-1), while Angell finished the game with 22 points, 11 rebounds, and five assists. Millett notched 17 of his points in the first half. Leavitt had a total of 41 rebounds in the game.

Sean McNally had 25 points for Gardiner (1-3), while Eric Goodwin contributed 14 points.

Oxford Hills 70, Morse 59

BATH – Ethan Sutton netted 13 of his 18 points in the fourth quarter and helped propel Oxford Hills to a 70-59 victory over Morse.

Brandon Moffett chipped in for the Vikings (2-2) with 15 points and five assists, while Ben Goodall also tallied 15 points. The Shipbuilders (0-4) were led by Nate Cloutier with a 14-point effort, while Ryan Chaney and Nate Elwell both tallied 11. The Vikings began to sweat late in the contest before Sutton ‘s and Moffett’s energy sealed the win.
