Mrs. Allison and Ms. Cargile decided to have an artist of the month at Lewiston Middle School. They felt there are many exceptional art students in the school who should be recognized.

Each month the art teachers will choose one seventh grader and one eighth grader. For the month of October Mrs. Allison selected seventh grader Alexandra Hood, “Alexandra did exceptional work on all of her grade seven art projects. Her creativity and care gave her outstanding results.” Ms Cargile chose Brittany Martin as the eighth grade artist of the month. “I chose Brittany because she excels at many different art techniques while putting a great deal of thought and creativity into every piece she makes.”
