FARMINGTON – Dorothea Mae Dube, 93, of Farmington passed away Dec. 21, at Sandy River Rehabilitation and Living Center.

She was born April 25, 1913, in North Anson, the daughter of Joseph and Thurza (Williams) Dube. She graduated from Phillips High School in 1931. She served in the Army Aircorp during World War II, being stationed in Texas and Oklahoma as a carpenter. Upon returning home she went to work in local mills and shoe shops retiring in 1980.

She was a member of Phillips Senior Citizens, American Legion Auxiliary (Prescott-Fairbanks Unit 64), and the Phillips Historical Society. She made a home in Phillips most of her life. She enjoyed fishing, picnics, and spending time with her sister, Delvine Hinkley of Strong; her niece; and nephews who survive her.
