MAYWOOD, Ill. – Scott A. Robinson, 30, of 140 Purkis Road, Buckfield, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 12, at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Ill., due to complications from diabetes.
He was born in Livermore, the son of Karen and Glen Robinson. He was a graduate of Livermore High School and Washington County Community College. He also received a high pressure boiler license and recently a trucking license.
Scott was a trained mechanic and enjoyed working in this capacity for several years.
Previous employment included two years at Lewiston Transmission Shop, six years at St. Mary’s Hospital as a boiler operator, and more recently at Schneider Trucking Co., at Carlysle, Ill., as a long-haul driver covering eastern and mid-western U.S. He loved trucking and trucking events, especially off-road four wheeling.
Scott was very close to his family and loved get-togethers. He had many friends and will be missed by all.
He leaves his father and mother, Karen and Glen Robinson of Buckfield; a brother, Craig Robinson of Austin, Texas; maternal grandmother, Regena Gilpatrick of Turner; paternal grandparents, Esther and Arthur Robinson of Auburn; aunts and uncles, including James of Shang Hai, China, Brian and Mary Gilpatrick of Biddeford, Annie Ho of Turner, Paulette Newcomb of Livermore Falls, and Joan and Chris Leavitt of Turner; many cousins, Tien Ho, his best friend, Lindsey Ho, Tom and Jason Gilpatrick, and Andrew, Erica, James Jr., and Maggie Gilpatrick.
