Awarded medal

LEWISTON – Sgt. Jason Duval of Lewiston was awarded the Army Good Conduct Medal for his service in the Maine Army National Guard. The medal is awarded on a selective basis to a soldier who distinguishes himself or herself by exemplary conduct, efficiency and fidelity throughout a specified period of continuous enlisted active federal military service.

Duval is assigned to A Battery, 1-152 Field Artillery in Waterville. On drill weekends, Duval is a cannoneer for his battery.
