PORTLAND – Roland A. Roux, 60, of Cascade Road, Old Orchard Beach, died Saturday, Dec. 23, at the Maine Medical Center.
He was born in Lewiston Jan. 1, 1946, the son of Roland and Irene Dulac Roux.
He attended Lewiston schools and graduated from St. Dominic’s School, where he played hockey.
He attended and graduated from the Bliss Business College in Lewiston. For many years, he was employed by Computer Telephone Co. of Portland.
He and his wife moved to Old Orchard Beach in 1987. He enjoyed all his animals, playing golf and the Red Sox. He will be fondly remembered for telling jokes and making people smile, and for spending time with his family. He had a deep love for his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Pauline Roux of Old Orchard Beach; his mother, of Lewiston; two sons, Denis Roux, and his wife, Kate, of London, England and Michael, and his wife, Tricia, of Biddeford; one daughter, Kimberly Blake of Saco; one sister, Carmen Parks of Saco; and five grandchildren, Kaylee, Jeremiah, Annabel, Bethan and Josephine.
He was predeceased by his father; and a brother, Romeo Roux.
