AUBURN – Elsie (Bard) Clark, 86, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 24, of natural causes at her home in Auburn.

She was born March 9, 1920 in Fort Kent, the daughter of Victorie and Delia (Voisine) Bard. She lived in Auburn for most of her life. She worked for many years with her husband at their family run business, Jack’s Garage. She worked several years in a shoe shop and after retiring from there, she went to work in a nursing home.

Her hobbies included going to beano, camping, fishing, making afghans, playing cards, watching game shows, canning vegetables and spending time with her loving family.

She is survived by her husband, Harold Clark of Auburn; daughter, Theresa Nadeau of Poland; sons, Joseph Clark, and wife, Joyce, of Leeds, Paul Clark of Lewiston and Roger Clark, and his wife, Debra, of Auburn; daughters, Helen Melanson, and husband, Ted, of New Gloucester and Pamela Lewis, and husband, Ricky, of Lewiston; 27 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; one great-greatgrandchild; and sisters, Jeannette Bard and Polly Jackson of Fort Kent and Bernadette Bouchard of Manchester.

She was predeceased by a son, Gary Clark.

The family would like to express their deep appreciation to Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice for the care they gave. Special thanks are given to nurse Marie.
