Marcel Morin, a charter member of the Auburn-Lewiston Rotary Club, has been named a Paul Harris Fellow for his outstanding commitment to service above self and the missions and goals of the local club. Chicago attorney Paul Harris founded Rotary, the world’s first service club, in 1905 because he wished to capture in a professional club the same friendly spirit he had experienced in the small towns of his youth. The name “Rotary” derived from the early practice of rotating meetings among members’ offices. For more information on membership, contact Mike Williams at 376-3517 or visit www.auburn-lewistonrotary.org.
