Lewiston – Sandra L. Veilleux, 58, of 94 Blake St. died Saturday, Dec. 23, at her home.

She was born in Lewiston on Dec. 25, 1947, a daughter of Paul and Charlotte Lessard. She was educated in local schools and remained a lifelong resident of this community.

She worked in the clerical field all her life and retired from Diamond Phoenix in Lewiston a few years ago after 20 years of service in the office. She loved her family and especially loved and enjoyed quality time with her granddaughter, Alexis.

She leaves a daughter, Lea Smith of Lewiston; a son, Tim Veilleux, and wife, Karen, of Auburn; two granddaughters; her parents, Paul and Charlotte Lessard of Lewiston; a sister, Charlene Arruda of Massachusetts; three brothers, Paul Lessard, and wife, Sue, of Auburn, George Lessard, and wife, Diane, of Lisbon and Richard Lessard, and wife, Pauline, of Lewiston; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her son-in-law, Dolor Smith in 2000.
