POLAND – Steven R. Walton, 27, a resident of 50 Cassie Lane, Poland, died tragically early Sunday, Dec. 24, on Route 122, as a result of injuries received in an automobile accident with his fiancée, Laura Caron.

He was born in Lewiston, April 4, 1979, the son of Robert and Lillian Patricia (Chabot) Walton Jr.

He enjoyed the great outdoors which included hunting and fishing. He will be remembered for his easy going nature as well as natural artistic talent. He was also a dog lover, and loved his faithful companion, “Achilles.”

Survivors include his father, Robert P. Walton Jr., and his significant other, Elaine Fides, of Poland; four sisters, Diana Walton of New Gloucester, Karen Loucks of Omaha, Neb., Vicky Trull of Katy, Texas, and Brenda Bedard of Lewiston; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his mother, Patricia.
