Trinity Jubilee Center is receiving a donation of maternity items and clothing
LEWISTON – The employees of Common Ties Mental Health have gathered maternity items and clothing and are donating the materials to the Trinity Jubilee Center.
Common Ties representatives Karen Bate-Pelletier and Ray Benjamin coordinated the campaign throughout the agency.
The Trinity Jubilee Center serves people who are homeless, and Common Ties Mental Health assists individuals who have a mental health illness. The two agencies coordinate housing and case management services for community individuals throughout the year.
The interagency coordination has benefited a number of individuals this past year, including persons who were homeless and who now have stable housing and who are also able to access community resources to address the cause of the homelessness.
Both organizations are members of the Lewiston Auburn Alliance of Services to the Homeless. Common Ties is also a member of the Maine State Housing Authority Region II Homeless Council.
The Trinity Jubilee Center is located at 247 Bates St. and Common Ties Mental Health is located at 140 Canal St. For more information, contact Common Ties Mental Health at 795-6710.
